Love Will Conquer All

It’s been a rough few weeks and I learned the hard way that life can be as every bit ugly as it can be beautiful. A dramatic statement that unfortunately came true for me and although I am sure that my readers (whoever you are) are not  big fans of cheep mystery, I have decided to keep you in the dark on this one. Sorry, it’s for your own good… I actually don’t want to write about it, it’s heavy, sticky and extra depressing, so I’d like to switch to something a little more fun – true love !

I have been straggling with this painting for a while.
At first it looked like this:

It was a tribute to the great and magnificent Arizona desert, but I wasn’t happy with it. Obviously something was missing but what that thing was- I didn’t know. That’s when it hit me - A feminine presence (yes, that smiling beauty is a girl!)

O.K, much better now. I admit, I don’t consider this to be my usual style, but I really like how this painting turned out.  I call it “Hot Desert Love”

so on that note – let us all share a silent prayer for better days (yes, I’m being all mysterious again), but seriously – may we all enjoy this life that we were given and see only beauty wherever we go.
